My name is Ben Keenan, I am an award-winning multidisciplinary creative director, strategist and writer.

I have led creative at some of the worlds biggest advertising networks including Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and M&C Saatchi. I’m also a passionate teacher who has been head of the prestigious AWARD School of creative thinking.

My own work has received over 200 awards across 30 separate projects at Cannes, OneShow, D&AD, New York Festivals, Facebook Studio, Twitter Awards, and Webbies.

Outside of the advertising world, I've been an active connector in the creative tech and business community. I've hosted hackerthons, advised start-ups and served on the board of PauseFest. I've also been a participant and presenter at SXSW Interactive in Austin Texas, allowing me to grow a global network of collaborators.

I've worked with agencies, with brands, government departments, emerging businesses, activists, media companies. Plugging in where needed to offer strong strategic and creative thinking, and a global network to make ambitious ideas happen.

My work centres around a value mapping process I've developed called "The Keenan Method" that combines the scaffolding of design thinking with the intuition of agency storytelling.

I've used my process to:

Mentor and shape creative departments in ideation and campaign thinking.

Consult to agencies as a fixer and creative strategist to solve briefs, win pitches and extend work into campaigns and award winning experiences.

Create strategic comms platforms for brands, programs and behavior change initiatives, and leading teams in extending those platforms in film, brand experiences.
